1)In the first place I don't really have a question, I just struggle with explicit definitions.
2)One of my flaws regarding sequences is that I make mistakes in the counting of jumps, or confuse the number that I have to plug in the (n-1).
3)Question: The 7th and 14th terms of an arithmetic sequence are 5.7 and 3.3.Find the first term.
Answer: 1)5.7 - 3.3=2.4, then 2.4/7=0.34, so there's a decrease of 0.34 in every jump.
2)there are 7 jumps from the 1st to the 7th term.
3)5.7 + (0.34 x 7) = 8.08
4)1st term=8.08
