Prompt Answer :D

1. What questions do you have on this topic?
Well, I wasn’t at school on Monday so I decided to check the blog. By reviewing what the class did in the POD I found my self very confused. I understand the 1st steps (the jump part) but, Im not sure about the 4th step, is that a 3? ( 3.5 -3?) if the answer is positive where did that 3 come from?

2. What mistakes are you most likely to make?
Some mistakes I make are basically when using the formulas I mix them up, or stupid things for example when looking for the 8th term of a geometric sequence and the 3rd and 4th term are given in the formulas when you raise by a power instead of raising by 7 probably I will raise it by 8. (I don’t know if I made my self clearJ)

3. Example problem:
Find the 6th term of a geometric sequence whose 2nd and 3rd terms are 16, 4

Solution:

4/16= .25 so, 16/.25 = 64

64, 16, 4 --------> T(6)= 64. (.25) ^5

Final Solution…. T(6)= .0625

georgyy the 3 is the number of moves from 4 to 1. In order to find the first term we subtracted the 4th term from the 3 moves multiplied by the difference between each jump.

t1= 3.5 - 3(0.08125)

I hope you understand what I mean, if not contact me during class.
